Harmonic Highlights – September 2024

“Harvest ‘Super’ Moon”

“One thing that sets the Harvest Moon apart from other full Moon names is that it’s not associated with a specific month. Instead, the full Moon that happens nearest to the fall equinox (September 22) always takes on the name ‘Harvest Moon’. Unlike other full Moons, this full Moon rises at nearly the same time—around sunset—for several evenings in a row, giving farmers several extra evenings of moonlight and allowing them to finish their harvests before the frosts of fall arrive. ” – Almanac.com

As we wrap up our Summer 2024 season of Renaissance Threads Workshops, we would like to send a special shoutout and thank you to all of the organizations who gave us the space and opportunity to host workshops at their events and also to our amazing volunteers who lent their time to help us facilitate! The workshops were a huge success and we cannot wait to continue our journey of Weaving Silver Linings through artwork and storytelling.

If you’ve participated in a workshop and shared a your story and art, don’t forget that you will be able to see your work on display in our HH HQ once the tapestry is complete!

Stay tuned for an official unveiling date and celebration announcement.
