Harmonic Highlights – July 2025“Buck Moon” |
|
“The full Moon in July is called the Buck Moon because the antlers of male deer (bucks) are in full-growth mode at this time. Bucks shed and regrow their antlers each year, producing a larger and more impressive set as the years go by.” – Read more: Almanac.com |

Celebrating 10 Years with the Harbor District! |
| Congrats to Milwaukee’s Harbor District on celebrating 10 years! It was an honor to help commemorate a decade full of transformation and witness the groundbreaking of the city’s longest continuous Riverwalk expansion to date — nearly $30 million invested in community connection and access.
Kudos to all that made this monumental milestone possible – this type of collaboration and community support for co-creating a brighter future is what “weaving silver linings” is all about! |

Community Connections: “The Art of After” Origami Workshop with Ace Christie |
|
Thank you to the incredible Ace Christie @ace_christie_art for leading an origami workshop for absolute beginners at Harmonic Harvest — our very first non-HH programming workshop. It was more than an art session; it was an experience rooted in intention, reflection, and transformation.
Each reflection during the workshop—on paper, possibility, and reuse—invited us to slow down, fold intentionally, and reshape our perspectives, one crease at a time.
Hosting Ace’s workshop and featuring their installation “Battle of Fox and Crane” at Harmonic Harvest in our space the past four months was an absolute honor – we’re sad to see it go! |
